• Causative Verb:
- Subject যখন নিজে কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কাজ করিয়ে নেয় তখন এই অর্থে causative verb ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Help, Get, Have, Let, Make ইত্যাদি বহুল প্রচলিত causative verb.
- Make, have, get প্রভৃতি যোগে অনেক verb- কে causative verb এ পরিণত করা যায়।
- যেমন:
- I shall get the work done by him. (আমি তার দ্বারা কাজটি করিয়ে নেব।)

• Other options:
খ) The girl takes after her mother.
- এখানে "takes after" হলো একটি phrasal verb, যার অর্থ - "মায়ের মতো দেখতে হওয়া/চরিত্রে মায়ের মতো হওয়া"।
- এটি একটি transitive verb, কারণ এর object রয়েছে ("her mother")।

গ) Honey tastes sweet.
- এখানে "tastes" হলো একটি intransitive verb যা quasi-passive রূপে ব্যবহৃত হয়েছে।
- গঠনগতভাবে Active হলেও, অর্থের দিক থেকে Passive বোঝায় - quasi-passive verb।

ঘ) The baby sleeps.
- এখানে "sleeps" একটি intransitive verb কারণ এর কোনো object নেই।
