• সাধারণত ভগ্নাংশের ক্ষেত্রে প্রথমটি One এর বেশি হলে দ্বিতীয়টির সঙ্গে 's' যোগ হয় (যেমন- Two-thirds).
- কিন্তু প্রথমটি One হলে দ্বিতীয়টির সঙ্গে 's' যোগ হয় না (যেমন- One-third).
- আবার সব ধরনের ভগ্নাংশের পরে noun-singular হলে verb- singular এবং noun-plural হলে verb-plural হয়।
