• প্রদত্ত বাক্যে subject হিসাবে বসাতে এটি একটি Noun clause.

Noun Clause:
- যেসব subordinate clause noun এর মত কাজ করে থাকে - অর্থাৎ - বাক্যে subject/ object/ complement/ appositive হিসেবে কাজ করে থাকে তাদেরকে Noun clause বলে।

• একটি বাক্যের চারটি স্থানে Noun clause বসতে পারে-
1. subject হিসাবে
- That she is a talented artist is well-known.

2. transitive verb এর object হিসেবে
- I believe that he will come tomorrow.

3. Linking verb এরপরে complement হিসাবে
- The truth is that they have already left.

4. Preposition এরপরে।
- I’m curious about what he said.

খ) Adverbial clause:
- যে clause, sentence এর verb, adjective বা adverb কে modify করে তাকে Adverbial clause বলে।

গ) Adjective Clause:
- যে clause sentence এর noun বা pronoun-কে বর্ণনা করে ,তাকে Adjective Clause বলে।
