- যে সব 'subordinate clause' noun এর কাজ করে, তাদেরকে Noun clause বলে।
- অর্থাৎ, noun clause বাক্যে subject, object, complement বা case in apposition- এর কাজ করে থাকে।
একটি বাক্যের বিভিন্ন স্থানে noun clause বসতে পারে-

- যেমন:
1. Verb এর subject হিসেবে;
2. Transitive verb এর object হিসেবে;
