WH Question-এ Indirect Speech গঠনের নিয়ম:
- Direct speech এ 'said to' থাকে, কিন্তু Indirect speech-এ 'asked' ব্যবহৃত হবে।
- Reporting verb এর tense অনুযায়ী reported speech এর verb পরিবর্তিত হয়। উদাহরণস্বরূপ, যদি direct speech এ present tense থাকে, তবে indirect speech-এ past tense হবে। তবে যদি question এর মধ্যে past tense থাকে, তবে তা past perfect হয়ে যাবে।
- Direct speech এর মধ্যে সাধারণত subject + verb + object থাকে, কিন্তু indirect speech-এ subject + verb + object এর আগে wh-word যুক্ত হয়ে question word (যেমন: who, what, where, etc.) এবং that যুক্ত হবে।
