- যেহেতু Object (him) বসানোর পরও Objective Complement ছাড়া বাক্যের অর্থ সম্পূর্ণ হয়নি তাই এটি Factitive Verb.

• Factitive Verb:
- যে Verb এর Object বসানোর পরও Objective Complement ছাড়া বাক্যের অর্থ সম্পূর্ণ হয় না, তাকে Factitive Verb বলে।
- Factitive Verb হলো এমন ক্রিয়া যা দুটি object নেয় - একটি direct object এবং একটি object complement। এই verb direct object কে object complement হিসেবে বর্ণিত অবস্থায় পরিণত করে বা নিয়োগ দেয়।
- কিছু factitive verbs হলো: Elect, Select, Make, Appoint, Call, Name, etc.

অন্যদিকে,
• Causative Verb:
- Subject যখন নিজে কাজ না করে অন্যকে দিয়ে কাজ করিয়ে নেয় তখন এই অর্থে causative verb ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- Help, Get, Have, Let, Make ইত্যাদি বহুল প্রচলিত causative verb.
- Make, have, get প্রভৃতি যোগে অনেক verb- কে causative verb এ পরিণত করা যায়।
- যেমন: I shall get the work done by him. (আমি তার দ্বারা কাজটি করিয়ে নেব।)

• Linking verb/ Copulative verb:
- যে সকল verb সাধারণত subject ও Subjective complement এর মধ্যে যোগসূত্র স্থাপন করে তাদেরকে Linking verb/ Copulative verb বলে।
- Linking verb-এর complement হিসেবে সাধারণত adjective বসে।
- Subject এবং subjective complement এর মধ্যবর্তী verb কে linking/Copulative verb বলে।
- অবশ্যই মনে রাখতে হবে Linking/copulative verb হচ্ছে actionless.
- Adverbs can be used before linking verbs if they describe the linking verb and not the subject.
- যেমন: The car looks fast.

• Intransitive verb:
- যেসকল verb এর object বা কর্ম থাকে না তাকে Intransitive verb বলে।
- সাধারণত Intransitive verb এর পর adverb অথবা preposition ব্যবহৃত হয়।
- বাক্যে ব্যবহৃত Intransitive verb-কে কি (what?) বা কাকে (whom?) দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করলে কোনো উত্তর পাওয়া যায় না।
- উল্লেখ্য Intransitive Verb এর ক্ষেত্রে কখন(when) বা কোথায় (where) দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করতে হয়।
- Intransitive verb যুক্ত sentence-এর সাধারণ Structure হচ্ছে: Subject + verb.
- যেমন: The leaves fall in winter.
