অর্থাৎ, দুই ধরনের ব্যবহারই রয়েছে।

• তবে, Cambridge dictionary এর মতে,
- informal speaking এর ক্ষেত্রে লোকজন অনেক সময় none of এর পরে plural verb ব্যবহার করে।
- তবে, formal English এ 'none of' subject হলে singular verb ব্যবহার করা হয়।

• None যুক্ত বাক্যের verbটি singular হবে নাকি plural তা নির্ভর করে বাক্যস্থিত noun এর উপর যেটিকে none follow কছে।

- এই নিয়মানুযায়ী, গ) বাক্যে নিয়মানুযায়ী, were এরস্থলে was এর ব্যবহার সঠিক, কারণ, money uncountable noun.

• ইংরেজি গ্রামারের ক্ষেত্রে formal নিয়মকে অধিক গুরুত্ব দেওয়া বাঞ্ছনীয়।

- Neither + of + plural noun + singular verb.
- সাধারণত Neither of এর পরে plural noun বা pronoun এবং singular verb বসে।
- Neither দ্বারা দুইয়ের কোনটিই নয় বুঝানো হয়।
