• Verb -এর Past participle -এর পূর্বে having যুক্ত হওয়ার পর যদি তা একই সাথে verb এবং adjective এর কাজ করে তখন তাকে Perfect participle বলে।
- একটি কাজ হওয়ার পর আরেকটি কাজ সংঘটিত হয় এমন অর্থ প্রকাশে perfect participle ব্যবহৃত হয়৷
- উল্লিখিত বাক্যে Having এর পরে lost (past participle form) বসাতে এটি perfect participle হয়েছে।

• A participle is a verb that ends in -ing (present participle) or -ed, -d, -t, -en, -n (past participle). Participles may function as adjectives, describing or modifying nouns.
- Participle একই সাথে Verb ও Adjective -এর কাজ করে।

• Participle মূলত তিন প্রকার। যথা:
1. Present Participle. Ex: Do not disturb a sleeping dog.
2. Past Participle. Ex: This is a book written by Charles Dickens.
3. Perfect Participle. Ex: Having eaten rice, he went to bed.
