• Negative Sentence: There is nobody but is liable to error.

এখানে,
- Every body দিয়ে কোন চিরন্তন সত্য বা অন্য কোন বাক্য শুরু হলে তাকে অর্থের পরিবর্তন ছাড়াই negative করতে হলে,
- প্রথমত, There is nobody... দিয়ে বাক্য শুরু করতে হয়।
- দ্বিতীয়ত, Verb এর আগে but বসাতে হয়। যেমন,
Affirmative Sentence: Everybody loves him.
Negative Sentence: There is nobody but loves him.

- There is no এর বদলি শুধু 'No' বসানো যায় যদি বাক্যটির verb কে পরিবর্তিত করার সুযোগ থাকে। নিচের উদাহরণের মাধ্যমে বক্তব্যটি স্পষ্ট করা হল।
Affirmative sentence: Every man must fall prey to death.
Negative Sentence: No man can avoid death.

-কখনও কখনও Affirmative sentence- এর adjective-কে পরিবর্তন করে Negative Sentence-এ Transformation করতে হয়।
যেমন,
Affirmative Sentence: Everybody is liable to error.
Negative Sentence: Nobody is free from error.
- এখানে, free হচ্ছে adjective.

এছাড়াও, Affrimative Sentence টিকে ভিন্নভাবেও Negative Sentence-এ Transformation করা যায়। এগুলো হল:
- There is nobody who is not liable to error.
- There is nobody who is free from error.
- There is nobody but is liable to error.
