• উল্লিখিত অপশনগুলোর মধ্যে - They had both been refused entry to the office - বাক্যেটি সঠিক।
• If both refers to the subject of a clause, we can use it in the normal mid position for adverbs, between the subject and main verb, after a modal verb or the first auxiliary verb, or after be as a main verb:
- অর্থাৎ, "both" শব্দটি একটি বাক্যের subject কে বোঝায়, তখন আমরা এটিকে বাক্যের মাঝখানে বিভিন্ন জায়গায় বসাতে পারি।
- যেমন:
১. বাক্যের subject আর main verb-এর মাঝে।
- They both wanted to sell the house. (between the subject and the main verb)

২. Modal verb বা প্রথম auxiliary verb-এর পরে।
- They had both been refused entry to the office. (after the first auxiliary or modal verb)

৩. যদি "be" মূল verb হিসেবে থাকে, তার পরে।
- They were both very nice, kind and beautiful. (after be as a main verb)

• অন্যদিকে,
ক) বাক্যের main verb হচ্ছে are এবং যদি "be" মূল verb হিসেবে থাকে, তার পরে both ব্যবহৃত হবে।
- সঠিক বাক্য: These films are both famous with people of all ages.

খ) বাক্যে both এর স্থলে either বসলে বাক্যটি সঠিক হবে।
- কারণ, When a negative verb is used, we use either (of). instead of both.
- সঠিক বাক্য - We don't like either of these options.

ঘ) বাক্যে both of এরপরে we এর স্থলে us ব্যবহৃত হলে বাক্যটি সঠিক হবে।
- কারণ pronoun এর স্থানে both ব্যবহারের নিয়ম হচ্ছে -
- (subject pronoun + both) or (both + of + object pronoun)
- যেমন: We both dislike watching horror movies বা Both of us dislike watching horror movies.
